After I became a Christian and started my path toward ministry, I came to the conclusion that God wants individual relationships with individuals. That's why He made us individuals. That realization made it possible for me to accept and embrace myself as a trans lesbian. Fortunately, my denomination, ELCA, is LGBTQ+ affirming.
