I really enjoy the Bible Project podcast - those guys are very clear about humans being the image of God on earth. All humans. The reason God is so opposed to people making images is that He already made the only appropriate image of Him, and it's us. Jesus took it a step further and proclaimed that the most unloved and marginalized people were the best images of God, and would be first in the KIngdom.

In the book of Job, it is Satan (Hebrew: "śāṭān" , "accuser") who accuses Job of sinfulness. Sin is Satan's business, not God's.

Unfortunately, there are many people in Christendom who are all too eager to do the accuser's job for him.
