In a grocery store the other day, I was in line behind a man wearing a T-shirt that said "One who kneels before God can stand before anyone". The picture was of a knight holding a sword and a military-style rifle. There was a cross on the knight's armor.
How strange that a Christian would apparently identify more with the soldiers who crucified Jesus than with Jesus Himself.
Edit to add: I looked for a source for the quote above and discovered that there are T-shirts and posters that attribute it to Romans 8:31, which is odd because that isn’t what Romans 8:31 says in any English translation that I could find.
