Sixty years ago, many churches were split on the issue of race. Now, though many denominations, including my own, are still mostly of one race or another, it is normal for people of many different ethnic groups to share pews and take communion together. This will certainly be the case with LGBTQ+ people and their straight sisters and brothers.

And when that happy day comes, I wonder what the followers of Christ will be divided over. History seems to indicate that some kind of squabble always exists.
