Thank you. I am currently struggling with whether or not I should continue seminary. I know the church is a broken institution, but I think there is some value in being ordained - if only to be one crying out in the wilderness inside the establishment. The church certainly isn't going to listen to criticism coming from outside.

I'm ELCA, and I'm pretty okay with the main social positions my denomination has taken, but it's far from ideal. Well, I'm nominally ELCA. They're paying for the classes I'm taking.

Being a follower of Jesus was never supposed to be easy...
