The idea of hell is what made me stop being a Christian in my teens. I knew I was more merciful than a god who would torture people forever - even evil people.

Christ called me back when I was 49. I now find it easy to simply not think about what might happen when I die. I am freed from death - I don't have to think about it. This means I can live and serve God to the best of my ability without any concern for what comes after death. God will take care of that.
