Your article reflects my own understanding of the type of homosexual behavior that Paul rightly condemns.

I do need to point out that the form of homosexuality that we now know may have existed in the Roman Empire. There could have been loving couples - either male/male or female/female - who quietly went about their business and didn't get much attention. These people were not mentioned by Paul - or any other Bible authors - because their actions didn't warrant comment. They were under the radar.

Historically, we can be sure that loving, consensual relationships between people of the same gender have never caused significant problems in any society. Unlike violence or greed. which the Bible condemns repeatedly.
